LIPC wants to thank all of our riders who participated in our 7th Annual Bike Ride!! This year we were able to raise $13,500.
With the sun shining, the wind at our backs “and a will not give up attitude”. It ended up being a beautiful day.
To all the volunteers who arrived in the morning to help set up, blow up balloons, take your information. For those who followed the riders to cheer them on, to the rest stop volunteers who always had encouraging praise and a treat to hand out. To the volunteers who kept track of the riders, cooked, took pictures, shopped, marked the roads, hung the signs, repaired the bikes, picked up our road warriors when they had a problem and last but not least, the clean up crew. For doing a great job packing up and helping us make sure the area was clean before we left so we would be welcomed back next year.
I THANK YOU ALL.
I would also like to mention the riders who were not here with us this year due to a schedule conflict or injury. We would like you to know that you were missed and we look forward to seeing you on March 6th at the fund raiser Dinner Dance and hopefully on the road next year for our 8th annual bike ride in September.
Through your efforts, LIPC has donated a total of $101,000.00 to the Dana Farber Cancer Research Hospital, earmarked the Jimmy Fund, since 2003!!
Thank You ! Thank You ! Thank You.
NONE OF THIS would have been possible without you.
If you have any input for either the upcoming Dinner Dance or the 8th Annual Bike Ride please send us your suggestions.
