September is fast approaching. Our ride this year will be Saturday, September 29th. Please plan on joining us for a great ride or come support the riders as a volunteer. We hope to see you in September!

Just a reminder that the 2011 ride is approaching in only a few weeks. We wanted to remind everyone that date has moved up a few weeks and is Saturday, September 10th!

We look forward to seeing our riders and volunteers again this year! As always thanks for your support!

The date for the LIPC 9th Annual Charity Ride has been set. There is a slight change this year and due to some scheduling issues the ride had to be moved up a few weekends.

So please join us on September, 10th 2011 as we once again take to the streets (on our bikes) to raise money to help find a cure for cancer!

As always we need as many volunteers as we do riders so if you don't ride and still want to help we would love to have you.

We hope to see you all in September!

Every year in late February/ early March the Pedalers hold a fund raising dinner to raise funds and help cover the cost of the September ride.

We are happy to report that the 2011 annual fund raising dinner is SOLD OUT! There is a waiting list so if you were hoping to attend please contact us and we can get you on the list.

Thanks to the 50+ riders and the volunteers who came out this weekend to support the ride. We are still gathering all of the post ride details together. I think anyone who participated this weekend can say it was a fun and successful day!

The Long Island Pedalers For A Cure!

The Annual LIPC letter went out this week to past riders and volunteers. Below are a few highlights.

- Join us September 25th for this years ride!!

- Please try and Register by September 5th so we can plan accordingly.

- Last year we had 47 riders and 50 volunteers.

- We raised over $17,400.00 thank to all of you!

- Our fund raising total for the past 7 years is now $104,000.00

We are looking forward to another great ride. We hope to see you all on the 25th!

We will be taking to the road again this year and hope to grow from last year. Please join us on September 25th for our 8th annual event!!!

Remember if you don't ride we need all kinds of volunteers to help out as well as donations. We can also add your company to our sponsor list.

LIPC wants to thank all of our riders who participated in our 7th Annual Bike Ride!! This year we were able to raise $13,500.

With the sun shining, the wind at our backs “and a will not give up attitude”. It ended up being a beautiful day.

Thanks to everyone who came out to ride and volunteer. We are still compiling the numbers but what a great day! The weather cooperated this year and we are again greatful for the support we get. Keep a look out here for pictures and final numbers.
